Made from 94% honey and 6% raspberries. Gold and Silver medal winner.
Appearance:
Brilliant red in appearance, evocative of liquid raspberries. This mead is gemlike in its clarity. Upon swirling the mead coats the glass well and develops legs quickly.
Aroma and Flavor:
The initial aroma is strongly fruity, with undertones of honey and an acidic finish characteristic of raspberry flavor. The mead has a nice round mouthfeel and is a well-balanced melomel. This mead is medium-sweet.
Overall Impressions:
The review team loved this mead. Comments were: "Damn! " "The Rasberryest Raspberry mead I've ever had"
