Amina_honeyFor our first show in 2016, we’re tickled to have on the show Amina Harris, Director of the Honey and Pollination Center at the Mondavi Institute (the fermentation holy grail) at UC Davis in California.

Amina has been director of the Honey and Pollination Center since 2012, and she’s been instrumental in and a driving force behind creating a number of programs at the Mondavi Institute for making mead, the business of mead and mead industry identity. (See the links below for upcoming programs on mead at the Mondavi Institute).

Amina has also been actively involved with the Mazer Cup International and runs her own business, Z Specialty Food with her family, in fresh, natural, sustainable foods, including some pretty amazing honey products.
