The first ever AMMA Mead Conference will be held at the Omni International Hotel in Broomfield, Colorado on March 8, 2017, in conjunction with the Mazer Cup International Mead Competition and Mead Mixer.
We will be having an all day series of seminars covering everything from managing mead nutrients to barrel aging mead (with a possible onsite building of an oak barrel), and many subjects in between. We go all day, from 8 AM-5 PM, jam packed with great info.
We will follow the seminars with the MeadUp, a 2 hour mingling event to hobnob with your fellow mead enthusiasts. We will feature meads from around the United States, and some yummy appetizers! You’ll have a break, and then it’s mead and munchies from 7 PM-9 PM.
The Mazer Cup has graciously agreed to extend their hotel discount to cover the AMMA Mead Conference. You can obtain your hotel reservations here. Since the event starts at 8:00 AM, we strongly recommend that you plan to arrive on March 7.
