Decided to give Joe's Ancient Orange another try. First attempt (about a year ago) resulted in a Meadplosion. Must have been alot of pressure for orange chunks to hit the ceiling after the airlock plugged up…live and learn i guess…after that, the batch never did seem right….
Approx 3.5 lbs wildflower honey
large orange, cut into eighths
1 stick of cinnamon
1 clove
approx 25 raisins
1 teaspoon Fleismanns bread yeast
Starting with clean equipment, mixed all ingredients. Added yeast when at room temp.
Bubbling nicely in approx 3 hours. No plugged airlock…yet….
