I'm about to start a batch of this. Going for broke and doing 3 gallons, since I have a 3 gallon carboy. I'm good with doing the recipe, but has anyone used more nutmeg than recommended, and less cinnamon or clove? I love nutmeg.

A whole nutmeg broken in half would be OK, cloves are very powerful I never use more than one in a gallon.

Great! Started it tonight, used only one clove, 2 cinnamon sticks, and one entire nutmeg, cut in half. it's started bubbling, so here we go!
