first mead: fast fermentation?

my first batch of mead...
12 lbs honey
6 lbs cherries
lavlin D47 yeast
acid blend,
starting SG 1.090

After 6 days the SG is 1.010. There is now no airlock activity. Is this fast or about normal? The temp as been constant about mid 70s (we can't control temp in our apartment). When should I rack into secondary carboy? Thanks!!!
