Mead Industry Growth

I'm a financial writer by day, a mead enthusiast by night. Two years ago I thought to cover the explosive growth of mead at the time -- the article was well received -- but now that I'm actually making my own mead at home now, I'd like to revisit the topic again to help continue spreading the word. I checked the AMMA's site and it doesn't make industry data available to the public (at least it's not easily found...and that's a mistake if you ask me). If anyone can point me to some industry data it would be greatly appreciated as I'd like to be able to continue to raising the profile of my favorite drink.

The American Meadmaker's Association is the leading industry group. For stats, data, and numbers I'd hit them up.

I agree. The AMMA would be the best source to ask. You can either post on their Facebook site and request specific info, or review/consult their quarterly online magazine.
