Thats right folks, getting into a 5 1/2 month old gallon jug of traditional mead, me and SWMBO.
About 14% ABV and quite drinkable compared to a couple months ago. Interestingly enough some airlock activity after pouring a couple .
Question is how to keep this fresh for a couple weeks probably without bottling and preventing oxidation if
that could be an issue over a short period of time . Don't think it will hang around for more than a few weeks at most.
Thanks for all the help :drunken_smilie:

My experience says it will oxidise, but not excessively.
I'd say it will last a week easy.
How about filling some rubbish soda bottles? That will make it easier to handle as well as reducing its exposure.
