All the stuff laid out and ready to go.. The little white bottle with the purple writing is sanitizer. It's iodine based and I soaked everything in it for about a minute except for the ingredients of course, but i did make sure the tops of the honey bottles got about a minute in the solution just in case..

Here is the 3 1/2 pounds of honey (I erred on the 3 1/3 via eyeball) in the sanitized and thrice rinsed mixed with about two cups of warm water. I actually put about a finger of hot water in the bottom of the carboy before pouring the honey, then the two cups of warm/hot water. I swirled it around until the honey was well mixed with the water so it would be easier to do the final mix once I added the oranges, raisins, cinnamon stick and clove.

And that's it! Topped off with water, yeast pitched and sitting on the bar. 30 minutes from start to finish including setup and cleanup! Too easy!

Excellent! Great pics - thanks. I just helped my girlfriend start a new batch of JAOM ... her first go at this insane hobby! ;D
