Yes but in imperial (at least in Victoria in aust)

1 gal = 2 jugs
1 jug = 2 quarts
1 quart = 2 pints
1 pint = 2 pots
1 pot = 10 oz (called a midi in some states)
1 glass = 7 Oz (I know, they just HAD to screw it up eh?)

Oh. And in some of the "other" states
1 schooner = 15 Oz or 1.5 pots or close to two glasses. It's actually a pretty good size, and is being adopted in the trendier bars in this state. (IMHO so they can keep prices extravagant and just lower the quantity)

So a pint is 20 Oz in imperial.
1 UK fl Oz = 28.5ml

And yeah, we have stringent alcohol sizes here. So you have to know what to order. Not like in the states, where your scotch and coke is as strong as your tip is. 7 different standard sizes can be fun, especially when most pubs only serve 3 of them!

I love them - I do not know why but I just feel really attached to the shape because it appears to be so aesthetic to my eye. one time a friend of mine gave me this red wine gift basket filled with about ten different kinds of red wines all filled up in pints. I did not drink any of it yet because it was so beautifully applied that I could not make the cut to get over drinking one of those. they are just the perfect piece of decoration though I wonder if there are sorts of wine in them that do not last very long.
 
I also just love the EZ Cap brand flip top bottles "look" - dark brown, lots of decoration, and the old english writing, pretty badass.
