Hi. Great forum here, I've learned lots over the last month and 1/2.
Recipe:
15 lbs. Colorado Wild flower honey.
3 tsp energizer
6 tsp nutrient
2 pkt D-47 yeast pitched at 70 degrees f.
Water to 6 galons.
OG 1.100
Racked to secondary 15 days later and SG = .998
Aged 6 weeks and cold crashed to clear.
Ready to flavor with herbal tea and bottle now.
Question: Can I carbonate this very dry mead with 1 cup honey and bottle it in to corked standard wine bottles, or do I have to use a different bottle?
Thanks for any advise.
