First post here and wanted to see what you thought of the ingredients. This is already rolling as of this afternoon.
2 gallons apple juice.
3 lbs raw honey.
2 tsp brewvint yeast nutrient
1/2 tsp wine tannin
11/2 tsp acid blend.
1 packet red star pasture champagne yeast.
OG was 1.101. Yeast pitched dry at 70f. It's fermenting around 68f.
I'm thinking i added too much nutrient too soon.
What do you guys think?
