I started my first 3 one gallon batches of JAOM last month. I have been keeping an eye out for a deal on some equipment on craigslist and finally found one. The guy has 2 5 gallon glass carboys, 3 primary pails with lids, 40+ wine bottles, siphon, air locks,bottle brush, chemicals,etc. for $100. Picking it up at 11am tomorrow and plan to have a large batch of traditional going this weekend. Any suggestions on another recipe to try?
 
I was quite fond of Northern Brewer's classic sweet mead kit (our local brew shops never have liquid yeast, or honey for that matter....). It tasted great straight from primary and I have two bottles left I'm trying very hard to see if i can age a year.
