My fiance and I have joyfully started our first two batches of mead two days ago and we are looking forward to enjoying the first bottles in a few months! Just wanted to say hello! I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post lol. But hello to all!

Welcome to GotMead?!

Best advice at this starting point is to say READ. Read as much as you can on the main site and throughout the forums. Once you make your way through it all then read Ken Schramm's book "The Compleat Meadmaker". After that (or somewhere in the interim), invest in the cost of a full Patron membership and start reading the info in the Patron's areas. Really great info in those files.
