For all of you Californians that live near or know of Henry's Markets, I found the Honeyrun Blackberry Mead on the third shelf down, in the red wine section.

That's the first "supermarket" penetration I've seen here in So Cal of a mead on the "winerack" shelf. I tried a bottle and will write up my comments in the commercial mead reviews soon, along with reviews of Chaucers, Lurgashall and Ni'bit.

There's a fairly new branch in Fullerton -- off Harbour, just north of the 91 FWY.It's a light,clean store with friendly employees and I like to stop there when I'm in the area.I particularly like Henry's bulk foods selection although the cheese and produce sections are very good also.

You have been warned before. Please start a new thread rather than dig up old ones. Hell! this thread is over 4 years old! Does it really have any relevance today?

It's best to start a new thread on a similar topic. It will be a whole lot more relevant and you will get a better response. Oskaar will always be here but if it had been someone else, could you count on them being here and answering you?

I guess this points out the benefits of the search functions... There is damned little that has NOT been discussed before! But still, let's keep it relevant and current. Digging up old threads only confuses people. If you have something new about the topic, please, PLEASE! start a new thread! After four years the topic is dead, complete, finito: however you want to express it. If you feel strongly enough about it, start a new thread about it.

Afterall, time is mother nature's way of keeping everything from happening all at once!
