Up to this point, I have not been too worried about the international hop shortage. Afterall, 3 oz. of the most commonly used and readily available pellets costs around $5. Not a deal breaker.

Recently though, I was lucky enough to taste some 3 Floyds Gumball Head. Absolutely fantastic! So, I decided to try brewing it, and found a Promash recipe ready to go. The hefty hop bill - 8 oz. of Amarillo hops. This is a fairly new hop, but available...... at $6.99/2 oz. (cheapest I could find). That means $28 just for the hops! No chance.

:sad2:

So, if there happens to be a brewer out there who just happens to have way too much Amarillo hops than he/she can use, and who is kind beyond measure, and who is willing to sell it cheap, and who is not a scam artist trying to steal my credit card number.....can you IM me and hook a buddy up? Please???

I got mine at freshops.com for 2$/oz for whole hops. They're 9.3%AA, and have great aroma.
