How much does one gallon of honey weigh?

My daughter is coming home with one gallon. Need to get an approximate weight so I can verify the quantities of my other ingredients. Thanks!
 
It can vary a little from varietal to varietal, and other seasonal factors, but 11.5# is usually close enough. I'll even rough-guesstimate with 12# in my head, but it's usually slightly less.
