Triphammer Wine and Spirits, offf Route 13 on N Triphammer Rd in Ithaca sells several varieties of mead, including Chaucers and Earl Estates.

We used to go to Northside Wines & Spirits, they have a huge selecton of wines. I also tried my first mead there. (It was some local meadery, though I remember not particularly liking their fruit meads. Sort of medicinal. That was a few years ago though, so perhaps not much help.) Not sure if they still do it, but there were often wine tastings from local places on Friday afternoons I think. They also give great case discounts. If you go for a tasting, stay far far away from anything called "Tugboat".

Missing Ithaca (Cornell class of '04). Say hello to the gorges for me.
