I'll put in a vote for Key Largo. Heck, Milwaukee wouldn't be so bad either.

This place would be pretty cool too. Scenic area, wine country, lots of hotels nearby....
 
I vote for NC. I can drive down there from VA in only a couple of hours and have plenty of room in the car for mead. Not sure how I'm going to get it to CO unless I ship it all. Planes these days are so picky about what you pack.
