Mead Day 2014

So the Missouri Mead Making Society is working on a Mead Day Event in the St Louis / St Charles Missouri area to be dubbed "Meet the Mead Makers" where attendees can visit, taste a bit of mead (maybe buy some too if proper permits in place) and ask questions.

We have reached to four of our state's commercial mead makers to ask if they would participate. So far the response has been very positive.

Has anyone attended a similar event and have lessons learned to share? Or, are there Missouri mead makers who might be interested in attending?
