Hi all, Just a quick question. Does anyone know of a meadery in Kansas? I would like to find one in Kansas so I don't have to mess with the crap the state laws have on importing Wine and such from out of state. Seems I have to have it shipped to a liquor store and then pay the store owners another 5 bucks on top of what it cost you to buy and ship the product. I don't have a liquor store with in 15 miles of me so theres one reason why I don't want to go that route plus I really don't agree with paying 5 bucks on top of what I paid for buying the Hootch. Any help would be great thanks all.

Closest one I know of is Pirtle in Weston, MO

Here's a link to their webpage that lists where they're available in retail stores. At the bottom you'll find the retailers for the Kansas area.

Also, on the left side of these webpages you'll see the MAIN MENU, four choices down is commercial mead, mouse over than and you'll see US MEADERIES as the first choice on a flyout menu. Click that and there is a listing of meaderies throughout the USA.

There is life outside the forums! LOL
