I had heard about the petition to release the recipe, but not that the White House had actually done it. Thanks for the link! Too bad they boil the honey :rolleyes:

Personally, I make the brews per recipe first. Once I know what the stuff tastes like, then tweaking is a lot easier for me :). But, I've only done two braggots myself and my difficulties have all centered on the body-alcohol-bitterness balance. Others with more experience might be able to make recommendations at a glance, though.
