I made JAOM years ago. I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, for some reason, that was the only mead I made. *Sigh* That is, until early this morning! I made...5 micro batches... Yes, 5. No questions at this time.
Anyway, here they are:
B = Batch
B-1 Regular Honey Mead
6 oz of Nate's Organic Raw Unfiltered honey
25 white raisins
Spring water (1 liter bottle)
1/4 tsp yeast (baker's, added some to warm water first)

B-2 Blackberry Mead
Same as above but added 8 oz of cut blackberries

B-3 Raspberry Mead
Same as above but added 8 oz of sliced raspberries

B-4 Mixed Berry Mead
Same as above but mixed leftover blackberries & raspberries (equals to 8 oz)
Did the dry yeast method instead

B-5 This One Might Not Work Mead 🤣
6 oz honey (same bottle of honey from the other batches)
8-9 oz of Minute Maid Orange Juice (it's an experiment!!)
1 apple, peeled, cored, and sliced (who knows what I was thinking...🙄)
No raisins (oh dear, what did I do...)
Spring water
1/4 tsp of yeast (baker's) dry method

All have a balloon since I have no 'real' equipment. B-4 is the only one that doesn't have a firm balloon. Slightly saggy but upright.
Just thought I'd share what I did this morning. Early...
