I just saw this one on White Winter Winery's FB page, a short pice but interesting to read:

Of course, we've been hearing about the renaissance of mead for maybe a couple of decades now -- an article like this, on the same theme and ideas, could have been written ten or fifteen years ago with focus on the prominent meaderies of the time.

Still, mead has been coming along. We have more meaderies, a very successful mead competition, great online resources.
