Been told by two Michigan stores that they can't seen to get any Polish mead right now, is this just my screwy state or is something else going on?

There are stores in Hamtramck that sell Polish meads - one is Bozek's market. Located at 3317 Caniff • Hamtramck. Sure that a few other liquor stores there also carry it.

I have purchased some Polish Mead from Champagnes in Warren on Chicago Rd. between Mound and Van Dyke. I don't remember the name,(it was in Polish), but it was chokeberry and quite good.

It is about a 1/2 mile east of Kuhnhenns. I have bought it there a few times, the last time about 2 months ago. There is also a wine shop on the N.W. corner of Metro Parkway(16mile) and Groesbeck that had at least one bottle of it Friday.

I visited Champane's yesterday, and picked up two bottles of Polish mead and blueberry mead from somewhere in Michigan, don't recall where. Talk about an eclectic store, I love the stuffed lions... :)

While I would like to find some of the commerical ones which medaled at the Mazer cup, I can't seem to find those.

So I picked up :

Dwojniak Kurpiaski : Black Currant
Pultorak Jadwiga : Raspberry plus spices...
