kinda a dumb question and i think i answered it myself i think. Started looking at other "show" recipes and it shows nutrients used.

And there are many sources out there that have it wrong and have folks confused. A show mead means no nutrients and no additives.

Yeah I just found a decent convo you was part off. So another question how do you back sweeten if you cant stabilize it?
The major problem I have, is to take it all the way down to the end, without being stucked in the middle...
For me, rosemary honey is out as almost light honeys. Better with heather or honeydew. But even so it´s hard... and slow.

yes, you can use boiled yeast. at least frmo what ive read. Are you asking if you can pump oxygen into the must? im not sure on that.

I don't think oxygen is an additive as it is always picked up from the air. However, I don't think adding pure oxygen will help make a show mead get done faster - oxygen isn't what limits the yeast in show meads. Nitrogen, micronutrients, and pH drops are the real limiting factors for show meads.
Boiled yeast added as nutrients may violate the spirit of a show mead, but that is certainly debatable.

I thought about making at least one show mead with the hawaiian honey i got on Vday, but i dont think ill bother and just do it as a traditional.
It seems like that would be fair. Not really any different from a whole hive mead.
