Now that I am out of honey for the next few months, until prices come down to something resembling reality anyway, as at $19 a quart it is about average right now, no gallons available from the fruit stands we have been to either (now totalling ~15 fruit stands to date, more to go, but not close to home), so it's time for alternatives until October or November. In that line of reasoning our neighbor is offering her grapes to us again, last year was ~100 Lbs of white seedless grapes from her vines, plus one of our sets of friends are offering me up to ~200 to ~300Lbs of white seedless grapes, and another set of friends are offering me ~50 Lbs of Concord grapes. Even without honey I should be able to come up with something resembling a drinkable fermented beverage from them. I will just have to beg some directions on how to do the best job of juice extraction, yeast selection, websites, and general pointers in grape fermentation...
Hrm, it would seem that ChevetteGirls' fermenting problem is contagious (ducks between CV's stilts, and runs (stilts and plate armor? Really
)). And it seems I have a drinking problem too, I'm going to be stowing away most of this and not drinking it.
