To be honest i have no idea of what im doing but i wanted to try something new, so here's what i did:

I bought a 4L jug of water and dumped about 500 to 650 ml of water from it.
I then put 1kg of honey and dumped it in my jug, then proceeded to shake it until it was mixed.
I put 4 grams of bread yeast in.
I put the cap back on the jug loosely to avoid exploding the jug.

Any tips? This is my first batch and it cost me about 15cad. I was hoping to make a plain dry mead.
