I’ve made just like this tons of times but right now it’s been two weeks and the fruit isn’t dropping. The fruit that dropped is also staying suspended and not settling.

If I use biofine and give each a light stir will it make the cakes at the top drop? It should also make everything form tight to the bottom rather than loose and flufffing around right? Any experience using biofine with fruit like this?

For the record it wasn’t this much when I added to secondary. It spreads out and seems like so much more volume than it is. I’d like to not waste 2gal of liquid. I never had to do a third stage before all my fruit always settled in the past.

This is pineapple, strawberry, pear, and apple

Years ago I moved to keeping all my fruit in a large grain bag. It makes cap management easier and saves me losing as much to the lees. Of course this works much better with brew pails than carboys.
