Currently working my arse off (literally) in the Caterina Italian restaurant (one of 4 high end restaurants on campus, along with a coffee/bakery). I'm currently 10 weeks from graduation, however I'm staying another year and a half for a batchelors.

I'm on my way....to recovery ;D
Went to Miller's honey and bought 1 gal. orange blossom, 5 lb meadow (clover and alfalfa) 10 lb wild flower.
What to do now????? That'l be step 2 :-\
I go to both B3 (went there Thursday to pick up my DV10) and also Stein Fillers in LB.
Most of my batches are at various stages of aging :'( and the Ancient Orange is all but gone.
The beer is about ready tho ;)
I do share my creations with everyone, as for Oskaar, he is more than welcome, he helped me a lot and his palate is much more refined than mine will ever be.

Cheers,
Ted

Isn't this diversity great? Our only common thread is our enjoyment of mead!

I'm safety director and quality manager for a regional LTL trucking company. Since we also have a terminal in Denver, I plan to find a way to write off part of my trip to The International Mead Festival on my expense account - but don't tell anyone...

I do industrial facility repair and maintenance for the US Postal Service. As a Building Equipment Mechanic I maintain and repair all aspects of the building and the building systems. My work varies from the technical skilled trades of electrician and HVAC tech. to the very mundane of repairing leaky faucets and plugged toilets.

I love the variety of my work, and no two days are ever the same for me.

Miriam, Say it aint so!!! We have loved your soaps. The lavendar bars were amazing. If you are no longer selling via your web site. I may have to learn to make soap myself. It is truly wonderful soap.

By degree - Nuclear Engineer and Civil Engineer. Never worked in either field. I've been a Controls Engineer with GE all my career, until a year ago. I got completely sick of the travel. It's one thing to travel the world with your wife or a friend, but it's completely different when your management won't let you go until the customer is pissed and only wants you there to yell at your for 14 hours a day. Enough was enough.

I'm now a Plant Engineer / O&M Manager at a local power plant. Still with GE, but a different division. Very rewarding job now. Some long hours, but always worth it. Especially since there are few layers of management at the site and they are willing to actually show people that they are appreciated.

Hold the horses y'all, what's this talk about Miriam making and selling lavender soap????? My mom LOVES that stuff. I was in the Seattle area last year and brought her a couple of bars. She is keeping them like they are made of gold :-\
Miriam, do tell....
BTW, the Moony, aka Moon Rise is still going about 1 blip/6sec.

Ted, check your PM box. :)

Yes, Oct. 3 is rapidly approaching. Missed last New Moon for some reason, so I'll be racking my two mooney meads then.
