Hi Meadlife - and welcome. What equipment do you need? A food grade bucket to use as your primary fermenter. A carboy (glass) to use as a secondary. An hydrometer to measure the change in density of the liquid (the mead) as the yeast ferments the sugars in the honey. An airlock and a bung to prevent air from oxidizing the mead in the secondary fermenter. But you brew beer not mead. You ferment honey. Grains need heat , honey not only does not need heat but heat will degrade your honey and so any mead you make. Good luck.
