Well, here we are down to the last two teams. France and Italy.

My prediction.

The French will start strong by putting all of their defenders in a line. The Itialians will ignore this and start to go round the side. The French, realising they are actually surrounded by Germans with the Italians attacking from the south, will immediately surrender. The Italians, confused by the fact that all they see of the French are their backs as they run away, and exhausted from flinging themsleves onto the ground in their death-throws, will immediately bribe the sideline judge to call everything offside, and will then hang their captain upside down from the goal post. At this point, the French will request the US team to take their place on the field and will run into the section of the stadium with all of the British fans for protection. Faced with the possibility of defeat, the Italians will immediately switch sides, hit on all of the pretty girls in the stands, and will then jump on their Vespas saying they are late for a train. The French will retake the field, claim they needed no help to do so, and will announce that they will for ever more vote against the US or England no matter what the issue. Meanwhile, the French students in the stands, angry at having to work at cheering for their team, will go on strike and start to throw stones, burn cars and eat foreign cheese. The French government, displaying their usual fortitude when faced with a difficult situation that may result in some fighting, will immediately cave, and will declare that no French fan will have to raise their own arms but will have government sponsored arm lifters to do all of the heavy work while supporting the team. On the field, said team will, unfortunately, score.

Congratulations France.
