I was making a smack pack starter with 1388. I thought I smacked the pack and left the room for 3 hours.When I came back to get the pack I noticed it wasn’t as fat as usual, this should have raised red flags but it didn’t. I sanitized the pack and cut the corner to pour into honey fermaid o mix. I poured the pack and then I saw the inside pack still whole so I cut a corner and poured that into the honey mix. This morning when I shook the mixture it foamed really nice. My question is , will this starter work or should I make a new one?

I guess ya learn by making mistakes.
