Last time I was at Rabbits Foot they said they do distribute to BevMo, but only a pretty small number of them. You almost have to go to the meadery itself to find one that will carry it. Bummer too because I would drink more of their stuff if I didn't have to drive around a bay to get there. (complain complain, I know. I do feel sorry for you PA folk, I got married there and had to smuggle wine in from DE.)

Ah, I can get the Sweet Mead without going too too far. One nearby-ish carries Melia too, but that is all. I want the Raspberry!

By the way I'm in the York, PA area, so availability will indeed be a big hurdle for me. Again, I greatly appreciate the help.

Ah, then you aren't in too bad of shape, then. You're just a short drive away from Mayland where they should have a better selection. Also, the first mead I ever tasted was at the MD Ren-faire, a locally made mead by Linganore. Although my tastes weren't very discriminating at the time, I recall liking it, and even more so when mixed together in equal parts with their red and blueberry wines.

According to their website they also make a Ethiopian style Tej.

Interesting how perspectives can change with your location in the country. Back when I lived on the east coast (spent several years in suburban DC - MD and No. VA, as well as some time in western Mass), driving to another state was considered a long trip by most "natives," even though that trip might have been as short as 50 miles. When I lived in the LA area I drove longer than that one-way in my daily commute to work, and it was routine to drive 90 to 100 miles to do something "interesting" and recreational on a weekend. Now, here in Colorado, long weekend trips are still commonplace for me as well as most folks that I know, but our commutes are much more manageable - 20 miles or so one-way, on average. ;D
