Anyone ever enter one of the tough mudder races?

Im entering one with some friends from my department.

Would love to hear anyone's impression of it fun or otherwise.

I knew a guy who used to mud race using a subaru 4wd station wagon. Would get laughed at every time he pulled to the line.

The laughing usually stopped when he crossed the entire bog and turned around to go the other way.

Wrong kind of race?

Im not really made for this but its a good reason to train for a few months and get stupid with friends.

Looks like a hell of a ride!!!

Although with my previous experiences with paintballing, it looks like the kind of thing you'd really enjoy having completed, and the stories afterwards will be awesome... but not so much fun in the actual doing... then again, I don't jog because I enjoy it, I jog to test my limits and do things I didn't think I could.

How long does it take do go through a race like that?

Sorry for the delay its been busy here! It takes hours they say 2.5 hours but most of the people there did it in 3 to 4. Its a lot of elevation.
