Oh, c'mon, how can you not want to rise to the challenge of contributing to the off-topic conversation and at the same time steering it back on track? ;D
(it's almost a reflex for me these days, I'm a volunteer on a board of directors and we're really good at getting off-topic on our group emails and someone has to drag us back to the original issue)

Contributing to threadjacking, not a problem. After all, while this is an incredibly informative place, I greatly enjoy the relaxed sense of fun most of the contributors share here. Contributing to the threadjacking and putting it back on-topic? Only if it's something I'm really curious about.
