I went to a "deals" site and saw these 6 gallon kits listed. They are dirt cheap... under $45 with free shipping. They even include shrink caps, corks, labels and chemical pack. There are 26 varieties available.

I can see they are pretty much made from concentrate. It's hard to believe at that price they can make a good bottle of wine. Decent perhaps? Most of the reviews by people who have purchased these are positive.

Any feedback from GotMeader's who have tried these is appreciated.

I haven't tried that exact one but with respect to making decent wines out of cheap kits, one of my favourites is California Connoisseur's plain old $35 California White. Granted, you may have a more sophisticated palate than I do, but none of my wine snob friends OR my mom's wine snob friends had anything bad to say about it after we served it at both her and my weddings. Their Shiraz is a few dollars more but very nice as well.

Maybe we should start out own "Deals" thread.

Care to share the url for the deal site?

The Vino Italiano is an eBay deal, but Amazon also carries them for about the same price.

This is an excellent site for deals. In the not too distant pass I picked up two 3-gallon glass carboys for $25 each with free shipping.

They also list sales and special offers (free shipping) from sites like Austin Homebrew Supply, Nothern Brewer, etc.

Here I got 1,000 Premium Agglomerated Corks # 9 Long for $84.21 with free shipping.
