So i made a 5 gallon batch once with a 98oz can of fruit puree. Want to reproduce the recipe but use some fresh picked fruit. thought about just doing my normal 2.5lbs per gallon but i thought id ask you guys what you thought first. thank you ;)

What result are you looking for? Just a hint of fruit, or a stronger presence? Whe are you planning to add your fruit?

Medsen Fey posted the results of a conversation with someone there in another thread. IIRC it was between 7.5 and 10lbs, depending on the fruit. A quick search didn't bring it up for me but you might have better luck.

I made A 5 gallon batch of fresh peach last fall. We added 25 lbs of fresh sliced local peaches to the primary. At first I thought it was too little because at bottling the flavor and smell was very faint. However as this batch has bottle aged we find it was about right. The aging for just a few months has brought out the peach. Only thing I'd do different is let those peaches ripen a bit more and mash them up. Maybe a few in the secondary.

yeah i didnt find anything either. maybe ill just try 2lbs per gallon.

Vintners harvest for stuff like raspberry should be close to 1 lb for 1lb if the seeds haven't been removed. For stuff with stones in them, dunno...certainly dosen't seem to be any info their website.

I have not used the puree, but have had success with the wine base (96 oz) in several meads. Per the manufacturer, one can produces 3 gallons of fruity wine or 5 gallons of light wine. I have used one can per 5 gal of mead with success and 3 cans (two raspberry, and one ruhbarb) in an 11 gallon batch which came out quite fruity and good and is bulk aging as we speak. My wife love it! Just my limited experience, but I will be expanding on that in the near future (I have 8 cans in stock, along with more than 600 lbs of honey) when my Taj Mahal (think Tardis) is finished (a few more weeks) and I have enough room to go crazy.
