I had just brought up a batch of a 6 gallon batch of mead after about 8 months it was quite clear and had a nice amber color. As I was lugging the carboy up the stairs all the sediment from the bottom swirled around and clouded the entire carboy. Since then I added Super Kleer and some potasium sorbate. a week later it is still very dark. I am wondering whether or not I should use another fining agent and what the risk of oxidation is at this point. thanks
