Wow those podcast were amazing I've already listened to the first two. I just made my third batch of mead and I find I am closer to something that might turn out but find I have learned a lot and by the time I get my next batch ready to go I will be sure to expect a greater outcome. Thanks again for those links too bad I didn't come across them 2 months ago when I took on the challenge of making Mead. You got to realize 2 months ago I never even heard of it can you believe that! I find it so fascinating and I am bound and determined to produce something that maybe some will be able to call very nice. I purchased a 60 lb pale of Wildflower honey from Massachusetts and I have 30 lbs left hopefully by the time I get to the end of my pale I'll be able to produce a drinkable Mead in a three or four months time frame. I suppose the first few batches I have made probably will have to take a year to age out some of the flaws I am sure are in there. I never even drank Mead before so I don't really know what to expect so this whole hobby has become fascinating and hopefully I'll come up with something I will enjoy

Follow the podcast and you 'll do great.
The podcast were very very helpful. I was going to set myself up with a oxygen aeration system and I have a few questions. I was just going to go to the local Welding Supply and buy me a oxygen tank and regulator like you would for acetylene torches would that work? It's about a $200 set up by the time I buy the tank and the regulator and get it filled. Then I have to buy the quarter inch Barb air hose connector that will hook up to my regulator and my hose and .5 Micron Stone. How important is it to set up a filter on that line? I do have a filter but it's just a little bigger than my quarter inch Barbed fitting and I can't seem to get my hoes over it. I'm going to go to the local brew shop when I go into town tomorrow and see if I can locate either some hose or a different filter or do I even need the filter? I have great interest in the fellow that uses oxygen every 120 Minutes and I'm not going to be able to accomplish that with a little canisters you buy at the hardware store. What is it that you use for your oxygenation

That's what I did. Welding supply store. Bout the stone/wand at morewine.

Ii don't use a filter. Maybe I should. I was told by the filler that it's dry and clean.
That's what I was thinking I'm going without the filter as well. I feel so honored to have you as such credibility to reply to my text messages thank you so much

I am a couple months away from getting my maple syrup still doing some research on the issue maybe we can keep in contact and I'll give you a heads up on what I'm going to try and hopefully I can get some of your input. I think treating the yeast the same way as we do with Mead I should follow the same protocol when making Maple wine. I am assuming but don't know for sure that maple syrup lacks the nutrients same way honey does the pH is going to be
