Doesn't mean that the concern for sanitation is any less valid, and maybe 8 yrs on we can get some more insight from newer members that pick up on this thread. And my original question still stands, why use narrow neck bottles for primary? To quote Charlie "Relax, don't worry, have a homebrew"
 
Just ask your question on a new thread. It's just very stupid to resurrect dead threads from years ago. Everyone knows that.

Maybe I will, just to irritate you. Some of the comments you have made to people in other threads have not been supportive, which is what this site is supposed to be all about. I believe it was touted as being friendly.
