So I'm going to add some frozen blueberries, but I wasn't sure wether or not I should thaw them or add them frozen? Would that drop in temp hurt the mead or should I wrap my brew belt on it?

Why not just put it in a grain bag and thaw it for a while, and then tossed it in :)
