Hey, so I put a couple of carboys into the garage to cold crash, and the airlocks were full of sanitizer that is about a three weeks old. Well the temp drop sucked a shot of the sanitizer back into the carboy on one batch. Am I ok here?
 
I just pulled samples from all four batches and WOW. They are pretty good. I let the wife taste them, and she drank all of them before I took SG, so I didnt get another taste. She wants me to fill up a glass with each one, I told her they weren't ready. She definitely didn't want to hear that. Im pretty sure I could get her wasted though, I think she tipsy right now.. I think they are all 18-20% and smooth.
 
Yep, you're fine. StarSan is a no-rinse sanitizer made from acids that are regularly used as food additives. That doesn't make it an ingredient, but it does mean that you don't need to worry about small amounts ending up in your mead.
