I came across this while reading today,
A Japanese research team has developed a fuel cell that runs on blood. Here's a link to the story - http://www.int.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&click_id=31&art_id=qw111596760144B215 -
Having been a fan of Sci-Fi since I was a kid, well younger kid, reading news ike this fuel's the imagination. With a cell that makes electricity from sugar in the blood, does this bring us closer to a time when cybernetics and mechanical replacement part become common place?
