B Nektar Meadery in Ferndale MI came out with a Cherry Chipolte Mead a few weeks ago. I went to the Meadery for a tasting, and specifically to taste this concoction. I love hot food and up to this point, had never tried a Capscimel. I have to say that it was FANTASTIC!!! I bought a bottle to share with my wife, who is not a hot food junky like myself, and she absolutely loved it. She even came home with a bottle if it yesterday, which is sadly now empty. It is very balanced between sweet and spicy. You can clearly taste the cherry with a smokyness that ends with a spicy zing that is just right. Two thumbs up to Brad and everyone at B Nektar, you have created yet another winner in my book.

I just picked up a bottle of the Cherry Chipotle. I never had it and will be trying it tonight. I also go their Necromangocon, which I tried a sample of on tap (!). Very good...refreshing!

How is their Evil Genius?

I've never had anything from B. Nektar that I didn't like.
