We've discovered that Florida is one of the fine states that doesn't require a big licensing fee for out-of-state shipping. SO, we're offering to ship our meads to buyers in Florida. We currently have the following meads: Wildberry Pyment (750ml), Orange Blossom (750ml), Tupelo (375ml), Vanilla Cinnamon (750ml), and Bourbon Barrel Mead (375ml). Each is only 14.95 per bottle plus shipping, and available at www.americanwinery.com OR just call the meadery directly and place your order. Our number is (248) 686-1506. Most likely, I'll answer the phone myself. Just tell me you're from GotMead.com and I'll be extra friendly to you. ;)

Cheers,

Brad

P.S.

I must warn you that supplies of Orange Blossom and Vanilla Cinnamon mead are getting desperately low already, with Tupelo and Bourbon Barrel mead close behind them. Not bad for a meadery that just opened last Saturday. :)

I'll be calling soon.... hopefully I can get a hold of you before the orange blossom amd bourbon barrel meads are gone :( Probably by the weekend.

Hey, Brad! How's it feel to have fellow meadmakers lining up to buy your stuff -- as soon as it is available to them? ;D

Nice work, man!

It's all a little overwhelming. I just hired a personal assistant the other day so I can keep up with everything. We're also picking up meadmaking contracts with breweries and wineries, so it looks like we'll be getting some more equipment soon. I'm very excited that I won't have to rack 264 gallons of mead with my SuperJet anymore. :)

Congrats on the Florida conquest. Still no luck with Louisiana eh? These devils all need a piece of the pie eh?

No luck on LA, and I don't see things changing any time soon. I'd like to start working on out-of-state distribution within a year, but I don't know who'll take us in LA. If you know the name of the good distributors there (the ones that carry the hard-to-find craft beers), then send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

If you could find a way to ship to Massachusetts I'd be one of your best customers ;D

Sorry, but MASS doesn't allow any direct shipping. They don't even offer a license. Best way to get our stuff is to help me find a good distributor in the area. I'm looking for distributors that specialize in small micro-breweries.

BLAST! I detest middle men! BAH! Nothing better than direct, instant (sort of) gratification! Now to accelerate my mead!

JUST KIDDING!

Yes, Massachusetts is lame as far as wine/beer/spirit imports go. So very, very lame. I sent you a PM with a link to a decent distributor in this state Brad hopefully it'll help. I wonder if they'll put you in the catalog next to Redstone?

Curious how the states with the biggest consumption of the spirits tends to have the most laws regulating its sale? Again the fat cats want a piece of the pie? Coincidence? I think not!

As far as I know, NJ doen't allow direct shipping either--Which blows.

I had a talk with one of the managers at this place referenced below, and I know he's actively trying to get setup to handle direct shipment to NJ residents.

Wine & Liquor Depot

They stock a number of craft beers/etc.
