Cracked my bottled this weekend. Very delicious. Nicely sweet with an amazing strawberry aroma. Heady with the alcohol as well, but as it breathed a bit, the strong scent of the alcohol diminished. I served it chilled, and then warmed my second glass with my hands. Warmth allowed the strawberry aroma to come through even more.

A very delicious mead. I will have to get a bottle when the new batch is ready, and I will probably be making my own in the spring.

The new batch was released at the beginning of October, 2010.

This time, we made it with almost 5 lbs of strawberries per gallon. Don't mind the label, we forgot to change it. ;)

Well this has caught my attention, but no matter where I search I just can't seem to find anything on it. I can't find Yo Mamma posting about this except for to announce the release of it through B. Nektar. I found it on B. Nektar's site, but cannot find it listed on the online vendor that the site links to.

Also, pick up doesn't seem likely. Currently I'm in a deployment to Afghanistan (though I go on leave in a few weeks), but home is in Missouri. So, really the only option is to ship. I'll keep searching to try and find a way to locate some, but it's proving difficult so far.

Virus,

I've e-mailed my contact at winebuys.com. They should get it on the website so it's available for shipping next week.

Brad, anyway you could check with your MA distributor to see if they have it on their lists yet? I contacted the store I bought the original bottle from, and the only things they had available were your four staple meads.

Our MA distributor doesn't have it yet. Their last order was about a month before it was released. They'll be getting some on their next order.

This latest batch is even better than the last one. You won't want to miss it.
