So I just racked a cyser and I tasted it before I sweetened it. It was very thin. Is there any way to make it better? On a different note I used a spice mix from Whole foods and hadn't realized that cloves are very strong. It is very much over powered with the cloves. Can I counter balance the cloves some how?
Thanks to all who help us newbies on here.

Time! My first metheglin was overpowered with allspice and cardamom, and was awful when I bottled it. After a month or so, though, the spices settled into the flavour, and the honey character started to reassert itself. The spice will mellow out with time.
