Every time I think Croatia can't get any more beautiful... I run across something else ~ Plitvice Lakes National Park, search it in Google Images People.

Seriously... you need to take me on a tour of this beautiful country.

I'll second that motion and the plusses would be the awesome local cuisine! Fresh fish, lamb and I hear the cheeses are pretty good too. I keep pestering the snot out of Oskaar to share one of his moms family recipes and he still hasn't budged! :angry3:

It is indeed an amazing place.

If you like Plitvice Jezera check out Krka National Park which is also another gorgeous place, and Kornati National Park which is a group of islands off the coast west of Krka.

Here's some more picturesque photos of Plitvice...you'll see what I mean.
 
Absolutely Incredible... Croatia is NOW ON MY SHORT LIST of foreign vacation spots, but damn... It'll have to be a good month long and after I acquire a Canon 5D mark II ~ Drop Dead Video and stills. Video shown is only 1/4 of the resolution of the original, and still incredible. Anything less, and the vacation would be a lost goldmine of photo opportunity.

Another very picturesque place is Central Dalmacija and it's islands which are along the Central coast of Croatia. The water is like nowhere else in the world. Very warm and the salinity is high making for easy floating and swimming. These are from the islands of Vis (my families island of origin), Brac and Hvar.
 
Wow! Croatia is very beautiful, I would have never thought it was so pituresque. Some of my moms family is from Serbia. I've always wanted to learn more about that part of the world, but I do know one thing the women from there are beautiful and I love the food.
