I'm looking into making a 1 gallon batch of cyser really soon and im curious about some of the recipes i've been seeing. So far i've come up with using 1 gallon of apple juice, around 2 #s of honey and the yeast (i would like to use lalvin k1 for a bit of a higher abv). my question is whether or not that is enough honey for the abv to get to a decent number... does the apple juice add enough sugar to the must where do you dont need more that 2 #s of honey?
